Description

The Pinot Noir Rosé from Domaine Stronck-Pinnel shows a style that consciously emphasizes authenticity: straightforward original and shaped by genuine handcraft. The grapes are hand harvested and carefully selected before resting for 12 hours in maceration. This somewhat more intense contact between juice and skins gives the rosé its distinctive bright color which sets it optically apart from more delicate rosés. Fermentation in stainless steel tank preserves the pure fruit and gives the wine clarity and freshness. At the same time this rosé shows a stronger structure and noticeable depth which give it personality and recognizability. It focuses less on delicacy and more on an honest expressive style that is immediately present. On the palate it feels lively and juicy with red fruit accents a fresh stimulating acidity and a fuller texture that gives it much pressure and expression. Despite its more powerful nature it remains balanced and pleasant to drink a rosé that can be used versatilely in gastronomy. The puristic label design also underscores the clear handwriting of the domaine: authentic unadorned and focused on the essentials the wine and its origin.

Sommelier Review

A brightly colored, authentic Pinot Noir Rosé that combines pure red-berry fruit with refreshing acidity and a fuller, juicy texture. Stainless-steel fermentation keeps the style clean and precise, while the short skin contact adds depth and character. Expressive, honest and versatile at the table.
